How does the cooling towel work?
Soak it in water, wring out the excess and give it a couple of snaps. As the water evaporates from the mesh, it feels cool on your skin. When it dries out, just wet it again.
How do I use the cooling neck ring?
Chill it in the fridge or in iced water for about 20 minutes, then wear it. When it warms up, chill it again. How long it stays cool depends on the outside temperature.
How do I charge the neck fan and mist fans?
All IcyMate fans have a built-in rechargeable battery and come with a USB charging cable. Plug it into any USB charger, power bank or laptop. Battery life depends on the speed you use.
Is a mist fan the same as an air conditioner?
No. Our mist fans are personal coolers: the breeze and the fine mist cool you when you are close to them (best within about a metre). They will not cool a whole room. Use clean water and empty the tank before storing.
Will the neck fan catch my hair?
The IcyMate neck fan is bladeless, so there are no exposed blades for long hair to get caught in.
How does the pet cooling mat work?
The breathable mesh top lets your pet's body heat escape instead of trapping it like a fluffy bed. It needs no water, gel, power or freezer. Always give pets shade and fresh water on hot days. See our guide to keeping your dog cool.
How much is shipping?
Tracked shipping across Australia is $8.95, and free on orders of $39 or more. International shipping is a $20 flat rate.
How long will my order take?
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days and delivered 7 to 14 business days after dispatch. Remote areas can take a little longer. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Can I return an item?
Yes. Faulty, damaged or wrong items are replaced or refunded, shipping included. For a change of mind, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. See our refund policy for details.
Does cooling gear replace water and shade?
No. It helps you feel cooler, but on hot days you still need to drink water, find shade and take regular breaks.
